Get your soil questions answered, understand the processes for bringing your soil to life and what techniques will work best for you to efficiently recycle all your garden and kitchen waste into fabulous fertiliser for your next season’s produce.

Includes delicious home-made lunch and afternoon tea.

Take home a 2-litre starter for your weed tea. BYO 2-litre bottle, gardening gloves, appropriate gardening attire and your favoured note-taking device.

Building Soil Fertility for your Garden

Lachlan McKenzie has been practicing and teaching about soil health and composting for over 20 years in many different climates on large and small properties.  This includes building a compost at Jagged Crow Farm in September 2020 from which you can observe the growth and productivity that his compost recipe delivered for our on-farm summer vegetable garden.
